Why Wasn't C-Murder Pardoned by Trump? Boosie Reacts

One day after it was announced that former President Donald Trump pardoned over 140 individuals within his last 24 hours of his Presidency, questions arise who qualified for the pardon? Why Lil Wayne and Kodak Black and not other known incarcerated hip hop figures such as Bobby Shmurda, C-Murder or Big Meech.

Baton Rouge rapper, Boosie Badazz took to Twitter to share his sentiments.

It is unknown at the time of this article, what the qualifications were for the pardons - but no one is contesting the release of beloved rappers Wayne and Kodak.

Lil' Wayne was arrested in Miami, Fla. on December 23, 2019 with one count of possessing a firearm and ammunition as a felon, and plead guilty on December 11, 2020.

Florida rapper, Kodak Black has been in custody since 2019, after an incident at the Rolling Loud Music Festival in Miami on May 11, 2019. He was arrested on his way to the stage, and taken into custody before he could perform.

C-Murder's case on the other hand is way more complex. Even with the celebrity involvement of his own brother, Master P, as well as ex-girlfriend Monica and celebrity advocate for justice, Kim Kardashian-West, Corey "C-Murder" Miller was convicted of another man's death on September 30, 2003.

Many Twitter users shared the same sentiment as Boosie Badazz on the day of the Presidential Inauguration of Joe Biden.
