Chase, Wells Fargo Bank Customers Will Not Receive Stimulus Until Mid Week

It's been a countdown to the minute those U.S. Economic Repayment checks will hit millions of eligible Americans' accounts. Some have already seen the deposit as early as Saturday March 14th at midnight, for those who had a direct deposit account listed with the IRS that went either to CashApp or Chime.

Bigger and more established banks, like J.P Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo said members can expect their stimulus to hit mid-sometime this week. Why?

Chase Bank wrote on their website, ""We expect that electronic stimulus payments will be available in eligible Chase accounts as soon as Wednesday, March 17, 2021."

Wells Fargo tweeted out, "Customers who are eligible to receive direct deposit of their stimulus payment may expect it as soon as March 17, 2021."

The IRS has stated the disbursement will be rolling out over the next several weeks, but you can check the status of your payment with the IRS' "Where's My Payment" tool.
