I don't care who you are - everyone has a favorite Destiny's Child video or performance. Personally for me, it's 'Cater 2 U.'
With successful individual careers, it's safe to say - that they'll probably always do pop-ups to support each other, but the band is probably never going to really "get back together" and give us a full studio album again. (I'd love for them to - but how long has it been?!)
Well, the trio is doing everything they can to give back, including some of their most iconic outfits and auctioning off for COVID relief.
The hubcap to the car that the Notorious BIG was shot in, just auctioned off for hundreds of thousands of dollars, people are into collecting some crazy stuff - so why not give back when you can.
Several stage costumes worn byDestiny’s Child will be auctioned off at Julien’s Auction, with some of the proceeds going towards MusiCares, which helps musicians who were impacted by COVID-19.
Some outfits the crowd can expect are ensembles worn during the performance of 'Survivor' on VH1 back in 2000 during a Diana Ross' tribute and more, and their Independent Women Part I music video matching fits.
What outfit would you snag for your collection?
If you didn't know - or maybe you're new here, or a Gen-Z'er, very infamously, Beyonce's mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson used to hand make and design the girls' outfits for a long time. Hopefully, you can get your hands on a Ms Tina original.
The auction will also include a Cher bodysuit and more iconic celeb pieces.
