Trouble Says The Music Coming Out Of Atlanta Is Trash

Trouble Mike WiLL Made-It

Atlanta's stranglehold on hip-hop is no secret. Migos, Future, Young Thug and 21 Savage have been dominating the charts and the southern sound has influenced rappers from all over the world. Turns out there's one ATLien who is not a fan of Atlanta's recent output. During his stop to The Breakfast Club alongside super producer Mike WiLL Made-It, Trouble expressed his distaste for Atlanta rap, calling it "trash" when asked for their thoughts by Charlamagne Tha God.

While promoting their joint album Edgewood, Trouble said he listens to Atlanta legends like Outkast and "Old Tip," who he says invented Trap music. "I f**k with a lotta music, period," Trouble said "Atlanta ain't really much ni**as that really talking ’bout not nothing. Couple dudes have club songs and all that s**t, but I don't really f**k with none of that s**t."

Charlamagne brought up artists like 21 Savage who are not making club records but got only a blank stare from Trouble, who then revealed his admiration for YFN Lucci

"Lucci be making some good music, goddamn, I f**k with Yung Bleu, shawty hard to me, know what I'm saying? He be saying some different s**t in his songs," Trouble said.

Mike WiLL, who produced a majority of the artists who Trouble dubbed as "Trash" had to defend Atlanta during the interview, saying that he has respect for everyone coming out of the city.

"I feel like Trouble my favorite rapper, you know what I'm saying, like, coming out the city right now, know what I'm saying?" Mike Will explained. "I respect everybody. I f**k with Young Thug's music. I f**k with Future's music, I f**k with everybody coming out. We all came up together."
