TWITTER went berzerk yesterday for two reasons:
1. The new iPhones were announced and
2. Henry Cavill was announced to be OUT as Superman.
DC Universe fans got wind that Warner Bros. were considering casting the actor, Michael B. Jordan, who plays 'Killmonger' in Black Panther, as Superman.
And fans - SWIFTLY put a halt to the liking of that idea.
let’s be honest with ourselves:— Lex Dolla$ (@lexdollas) September 13, 2018
Michael B. Jordan is not that good of an actor
If y'all let Michael B Jordan play Superman Ima be out there protesting right next to the white people— Vonny Lovely (@JetSetVon) September 12, 2018
This is not a drill! Warner Bros. is reportedly considering Michael B. Jordan to play Superman following a report that Henry Cavill will no longer appear as the character in the DC film! #BlackSuperman https://t.co/hLZdO2X7zf pic.twitter.com/sRgqYxoF8E— EBONY MAGAZINE (@EBONYMag) September 12, 2018
Now, with some of these tweets, fans were very harsh on Jordan's acting skills. Though he's been cast in 'Creed,' 'Red Tails,' 'Black Panther,' 'Chronicle,' and many more, we can't forget the disaster of 'Fantastic Four.'
Should Jordan leave the Superhero films alone this time?
What do you think?
