The iconic Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris has caught fire. The devastating blaze has been burning for more than 3 hours at the time of this post and has also destroyed the spire which sits atop of the Cathedral. The 13th century landmark was currently in the mist of a renovation project at the time of the fire. Currently the cause is unknown but firefighters have suggested it was merely an accident.
