Kanye West & Joel Osteen Team Up Again For Yankee Stadium Service

Kanye West and Joel Osteen are teaming up once again, but this time the Christian duo is hoping to fill up Yankee Stadium for a "Night of Hope."

According to TMZ, Ye and Pastor Joel are planning to bring the word of God to New York City's iconic baseball stadium on May 2, 2020, for a mega event as part of Joel's "America's Night of Hope" tour, which he takes to several cities across the country.

The service will reportedly include a sermon from Joel and performances from Kanye and his Sunday Service choir, similar to what they did a few weeks ago in Houston.

The May service will mark Joe's third time doing "Night of Hope" at Yankee Stadium, but his first time with Ye, TMZ reports. Ticket prices have yet to be revealed, however, the outlet noted that past tickets for "Night of Hope" events have gone for $15. While the stadium has a max capacity of 54,251, it's only about 10,000 more than Lakewood Church, which they filled up last month.

As fans know, Ye joined Joel for a special Sunday Service at Joel's home church in Texas, Lakewood Church, in November.

Ye reportedly performed for 2-plus hours with his choir — they performed covers, including some of Kanye's past and present tracks, and a few classic songs they remixed into gospel song — and even shared the stage at one point with Joel, who shared "several lessons about allowing God to guide oneself to greatness, despite haters along the way," TMZ reported at the time.
