Megan Thee Stallion Previews New Track With Twerk Filled Video

Billboard Women In Music 2019 Presented By YouTube Music

Megan Thee Stallion is taking a much deserved vacation after putting in some serious work all 2019. The hot girl has been flaunting photos of her and some friends on a getaway trip literally “driving the boat” as Meg likes to say. The tequila-filled twerk fest turned into a welcome surprise for lucky fans when Megan decided to drop a short preview of her latest track coming soon. The rapper posed in front on an outside tropical bar dressed in a bikini and t-shirt as she raps and dances to the new song. Behind her are two friends twerking out to the hit which she captioned, "me and my friends be jamming all my music before it drop 💁🏽‍♀️.”

Even on vacation, she’s still putting in work, all things considered. Meg has had a rollercoaster of a year. She quickly shot to fame with her lyrical genius and stellar appeal, but the rapper also lost both her mother and grandmother, who have been her number 1 supporters from the start.

Still, she’s been able to remain in college and build her massive career, recently dropping a fire single with Normani, “Diamonds.”

Megs experiences taught her to become stronger and stand proud to be the woman she is today.

"You need to take that struggle and throw it in the trash because you are a queen and you can't let nobody tell you that you're not a queen," she said advising other woman who also have faced their own self-worth tribulations.

A Celebration of The Fearless Women in Music Hosted by YouTube Music and Megan Thee Stallion

The "Freak Nasty" rapper sat down with Billboard for an interview following the win of her Women in Music Powerhouse Award, to talk about how she gets through the hard times. According to the rapper, watching old Queen Bey interviews is what pushes her to stay motivated.

"If Beyoncé can get through it, I can get through it,” Meg said.

Both artist are from Houston and Megan, who comes from a history of being a bullied child, says that Beyonce gives her guidance when she’s feeling lost.

"I'm from Houston, she's from Houston. I've been listening to her all my life and she is just somebody that, when I'm feeling like, am I doing the wrong things or am I feeling the wrong way? I just go back and watch her old interviews. I watch her talk about going through the same struggles that I feel like I'm going through right now."
