How To Watch The 2021 Puppy Bowl

Today - Season 68

The big game is right around the corner—and, yes, we're talking about the Puppy Bowl, not the Super Bowl. For those who know the Puppy Bowl is really the main event on Super Bowl Sunday, here's everything you need to know about when and where to tune in to catch the epic cuteness.

The annual event will air on Super Bowl Sunday (February 7) ahead of the match between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Puppy Bowl fans catch the adorable faceoff on Discovery+ and Animal Planet at 2 p.m. ET/11 a.m. If you have a Discovery+ account, you'll be able to stream the event there. The Puppy Bowl will also be available to stream on Philo.

For those who may have missed this canine sporting even in the past, the Puppy Bowl "celebrates adoptable pups in all their cuteness and showcases the incredible shelters and rescues, as well as their staffers, who dedicate their lives to helping animals find their loving homes," according to a press release. "The adoption rate is at 100 percent as all puppies and kittens featured in Puppy Bowl to date have found their forever homes with loving families."

Referee—sorry, we mean "Rufferee"—Dan Schachner will return to the Puppy Bowl for the 10th year in a row, as well. Viewers can expect to see 70 adoptable (and adorable) puppies from shelters across the northeast U.S. compete on either Team Ruff or Team Fluff in a series of games. The winners will be awarded the "Lombarky" trophy.

As if tuning to watch puppies play wasn't enough of a draw, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart will host the 2021 Puppy Bowl. The duo will provide sideline commentary as each team competes for the coveted Lombaky Trophy. Will you be tuning in to the Puppy Bowl this year?
