'Tis the season! Mariah Carey, the queen of Christmas, is blessing fans with a brand new holiday track, 'Fall In Love At Christmas,' featuring Khalid and Kirk Franklin.
"It's so not all 'I Want for Christmas Is You,'" Mariah shared of the new hit. "It's a love song so I’m not trying to compete with my own song. I just did it because I thought it would be nice to have something in a different genre and it is a nice message for right now.”
Carey first teased the big announcement in a video shared on Monday (November 1) to welcome the holiday season. The video sees Carey dressed up in a red sequin gown and smashing her Halloween decorations with a candy cane baseball bat. Her Christmas classic, 'All I Want For Christmas Is You', was playing in the background.
"I think we started writing it around May," she added. "When I do write a Christmas song, I do decorate the whole studio.”
