Ye is praising his eldest daughter North West for inspiring him to go back to the basics for his upcoming album.

On Tuesday, January 17, the artist formerly known as Kanye West made several unexpected posts on Instagram. After promoting his Yeezy slides, Ye posted a video of his 11-year-old daughter playing a keyboard alongside the WRLDFMS Tony Williams. In another post, the rapper-producer shows North and Tony walking together to a studio set-up to work on more music together. He also uploaded a photo of young North sitting by the keyboard and credited her for making him "love music again."

"This little girl made me love music again," he wrote. "She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY."

Ye and North West have joined forces on a few musical projects within the past year. She made her official debut on "Talking" off her dad and Ty Dolla $ign's joint album VULTURES last year and directed the song's official music video. North and Ye teamed up again back in November for the "BOMB" music video from ยฅ$'s VULTURES 2 album.

North previously said she wanted to become a rapper, among other things, in her first-ever magazine cover story last year. Prior to that feature, Ye's daughter revealed she was working on her debut album and announced the title at Ye and Ty Dolla $ign's listening event nearly a year ago.

โ€œHi, it's Northie and Iโ€™ve been working on an album and it is called Elementary School Dropout,โ€ North told the crowd.

Of course, Ye is also working on his Bully album. He's previewed a few songs from the project but hasn't confirmed a release date just yet. Scroll below for more footage of Ye and North working together below.
