SO - I get on Al Gore's internet yesterday and see this video making its' rounds on my timeline. Soulja Boy was a guest on 1AM Radio in the 'DASH' platform, and went live when the influencer, YesJulz freestyled for him. Watch this:
YesJulz has been a controversial figure for a few years now, since she was recorded using the "N" word and even tweeting a picture with it printed on a shirt - and everyone quickly read her - to remind her, that she's NOT a part of our culture.
But after this BOLD little move, Twitter, rappers, hosts and so many more were NOT having it.
I interviewed YesJulz maybe two or three years ago at SXSW. We first met through a mutual friend and I followed her on Snapchat. But this was preceding all of the ignorance that became public.
