The past two days have been hard for me. Nipsey Hussle was my favorite rapper alive. Mainly because, he came from a background like mine and made it out. He was the epitome of putting a plan together and never quitting, the Marathon as he calls it.
During a few moments in my life that I needed a voice of encouragement or an extra push, his music was there to do that for me. I can't think of anyone that I've shed tears over that I didn't personally know - but the loss of Nipsey Hussle felt so personal.
I became close to my co-host and one of my best friends just over the love we shared for Nipsey and the respect for everything he did and stood for.
