Houston Callers Weigh in on Megan thee Stallion, Writing Own Raps & More

It's truly about to be a Stallion summer, definitely in H-Town. Megan thee Stallion is truly putting on for our city and avoiding the drama as best she can.

Earlier this week, Yung Miami posted on Instagram about having a number one hit and it not mattering if she wrote it or not - she claimed "yall h**s need a writer, periodt." Cardi B then chimed in on her live to defend her.

But the conversation moved to some women rappers that DO write their own, are "real" MC's and deserve a little more respect due to their authenticity.

Asian the Brat, previously Asian Doll, tweeted her pride about her authenticity, which may have sparked this whole debate. But Megan's name was thrown in the conversation, claiming her as an authentic MC that has been doing it all, the right way.

I asked our listeners to chime in earlier this week, and this is what they had to say.

Do you think it matters if female artists write their own stuff?
