Every single day, I drive down Westheimer from Westchase to get to work in Uptown, our station is in the Galleria area off 610 and West Loop South and it seems like EVERY SINGLE DAY there is either a traffic light out (or two) and a lane is shut down, due to construction - which could mean pothole repair. I just had to get a new tire, because of the ridiculous amount of potholes just on Westheimer alone.
But Houston Public Works says they've been hard at work last month, filling over 8,000 potholes - oh, but there are so much more.
Not to sound ungrateful, but Houston is one of the BIGGEST cities in the country and I know I still suffer from unfilled potholes, but maybe I just need to learn patience?
