Matthew Knowles was a guest on a radio show with host Clay Cane recently, where he spoke about colorism in the radio industry, especially at CHR or 'Top 40' stations. Cane gives a list of examples of women that are lighter skinned that are more 'accepted' for crossover play and Knowles reflects on a study he touches on in his course at Texas Southern University, about how Beyonce's career may have been affected if she was darker skinned.
