Back in June at the BET Awards 2019, DaBaby revealed to me that his newest album will drop in August, which is a hell of a lot soon because he JUST DROPPED "Baby on Baby" earlier this year. Two albums in one year? There's only four days left in the month, so we're on 'Baby Watch' for sure.
DaBaby recently let me know that the new album will be named "Kirk," his legal last name. Inspired heavily by the impact that his father left on him and how he inspired him to be a leader himself.
Also, DaBaby is my guy and we always have dope conversations - just go ahead and listen to our others ;D.
And of course, the first time we met in January of this year, right after he announced his deal with Interscope.
DaBaby solidified that he's the hottest rapper out this year with a secured spot and fire freestyle for the XXL Freshmen cover, a performance at the BET Awards as well as a spot on Drake's 'OVO Fest," and countless festival appearances including Rolling Loud, JMBLYA and more.
