HOUSTON has seen at least 50 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since March 4 at the earliest in Fort Bend County.
Now, there is a drive-thru testing site at United Memorial Medical Center, but a three step process.
Residents will go through three tents; screening, registration and then (if you qualify) testing.
As of 9pm last night, two DPS employees have tested positive for the virus, with no further details about whom or what facilities.
WHEN YOU SHOULD GET TESTED:
Only if you've taken a cruise or traveled abroad within the past 30 days to a hot-zone country.
Symptoms are: dry cough, fever, difficulty breathing.
Friday March 20th 8a-6p
Monday March 23-Friday March 27th 8a-8p.
Another Option for High Risk Patients in the Southwest:
My Family Doctor on the 6400 block of HIllcroft Street will be conducting tests, only to those at high risk of the virus.
Have you been tested or know of anyone that has? What was the experience like? Let me know on Twitter @ashleeonair , I'd love to feature you on our show!
