Governor Greg Abbott gave the green light for a first wave of businesses to open up starting today, Friday May 1st - which included restaurants, retailers and malls, but did not include strip clubs.
As reported by Houston Chron, the DA threatened arrest to the defiant strip club owner of Onyx, when they opened their doors at 12:01 am on Friday May 1st - citing that they were not included in the approved list of businesses that could open up shop today.
The owner replied the establishment was not a strip club, but a "restaurant with entertainment."
