The rumor mill is getting pretty heavy with more 'certainties' that Deshaun Watson will not be spending another season with the Houston Texans after a losing season.
Rumors have been swirling online, and after the trade of the Houston Rockets' James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets - fans in Houston are doing all they can to keep one of their star players around. The NFL Player opened a restaurant, 'Lefty's Cheesesteaks' in the city of Houston, and fans planned to do a rally march - to show their support and appreciation for Watson.
Once Watson got wind of this, he immediately took to Twitter to remind fans that COVID-19 is still prevalent and not to do so.
Was a march to his restaurant enough to get him to reconsider about leaving H-Town?
Now a report was released yesterday, stating he hasn't been returning Texans' phone calls. Where do you think he will go?
Watson has been with the Houston Texans franchise since 2017. He joined the team as a first round draft pick, coming from Clemson University.
