SUBWAY restaurants can NOT catch a break it seems - but whose fault is that? After the horrible scandal involving their weight loss spokesperson, Jared Fogle, who was convicted in 2015 and a registered sex offender.
Now, the sandwich chain is coming under fire for their Tuna sub, not actually containing any tuna at all.
In an article from The Washington Post, the restaurant described their sandwich as this:
Subway describes its tuna sandwich as “freshly baked bread” layered with “flaked tuna blended with creamy mayo then topped with your choice of crisp, fresh veggies.”
The chain has been named in a lawsuit, alleging that this is false - and there is actually on tuna included in the sandwich, so WHAT IS IT?
The lawsuit names two main plaintiffs; Karen Dhanowa and Nilima Amin who are suing the establishment for fraud, both residents of Alameda County in the Bay Area.
Subway has denied the claims - but what do you think?
