There are many great things to say about the Lone Star State, but one thing Texans may want to be different, are the alcohol sales laws. TABC may be a bit more strict than their neighboring states.
Texas State House Representative, Richard Raymond has introduced HB 937, a new bill trying to end the Prohibition-era ban on distilled spirits sales on Sundays.
Currently in Texas, only five counties are completely dry; Borden, Hemphill, Kent, Roberts and Throckmorton.
Currently the laws prohibit any sales on Sundays, 7am to Midnight on Monday through Friday and noon to midnight on Sunday, with the ability to sell from 10am to noon only in the conjunction of food.
Are you excited or indifferent or against this possible new change in laws?
