ActionNewsJax reported that on Monday afternoon, one woman robbed a Regions Bank in Downtown Jacksonville, with no weapon, and tried to get away.
Kenyeitta Gordon, 39, entered the downtown Jacksonville bank, asking for assistance in adding overdraft protection to her account, when Gordon then asked to withdrawal money, to no avail. Afterwards, Gordon announced she was robbing the establishment and the teller then proceeded to hand over $100 and Gordon attempted to flee -- on motorized wheelchair.
Since this bank is in close vicinity to a police station, Gordon was found very soon and very close to the scene of the crime. Police found the stolen $100 and drug paraphernalia in her possession.
