The BET Awards 2021 airs this Sunday June 27th at 8/7c on BET and with that, usually I would be in LA doing the Radio Room, interviewing all your favorite celebs and artists - but of course, COVID made it almost impossible to do so safely. So we went virtual again this year, and I was able to interview SAWEETIE.
I've been a fan of Saweetie since I found out she went to USC, she's from the west coast (like myself) and she has a funny personality as she showcases on her 'Icy Life' vlogs on YouTube.
She performed on Jimmy Kimmel last week with her newest single "Fast Motion," and announced she would be dropping her album this Friday, June 25th.
But it looks like, the "Icy Girl" rapper has decided to push that release back. With this being her debut album, after dropping several mixtapes - the Bay Area native is rethinking some things and tweaking the final cuts.
