It's now been two years since the initial MASK MANDATE enforced by federal law for American travelers.
Four major airlines announced Monday evening that they will no longer enforce mask mandates on Domestic flights.
The announcement came from multiple flight attendants making the announcement, which were then posted to social media.
This news comes as a federal judge in Florida struck down the requirement for masks on public travel on airplanes, buses and trains. The ruling leaves it up to the individual airline to decide what to do, as the CDC extended the mask mandate to May 3, 2022.
The New York Times confirmed this;
"It remained unclear to what extent local transportation agencies or smaller airlines would seek to keep their mandates in place. Earlier in the day, before the administration official said the T.S.A. would not enforce the mandate, several state and local transit agencies across the country suggested they would keep their mask requirements for now."
Is it too early? Way past due? Will you still be wearing your mask?
