Children need to have healthy meals throughout the summer months so parents take advantage of this opportunity. Children are eligible to receive free,nutritionally balanced meals at more than 250 Houston-area schools.
The HISD Summer Meal Program runs now until August 4. Children do not need to be enrolled in summer school to participate,and no paperwork or registration will be provided. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Plus adults can also purchase breakfast for $2.25 and lunch for $3.50 here is the list of participating schools: Houstonisd.org
