So much for that plan to arm teachers making classrooms safer. A California high school teacher accidentally fired a gun during a class on public safety. According to NBC three students were injured during Tuesday's 1:20pm demonstration at Seaside High School. Class resumed shortly after. "It's the craziest thing," said parent Fermin Gonzales, who told KSBW that he only learned of his son's injury when the boy came home. "It could have been very bad." Teacher Dennis Alexander, who serves as a reserve police officer for the Sand City police, is also a Seaside city councilman. Read more here
