It's the end of an era. And the beginning of a new one. After 25 years, legendary group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony has changed their name to Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony today. The award winning group has undergone its first name change in three decades, after trying Buffalo Wild Wings new boneless wings for the first time.
The group’s manager, Steve Lobel, said in a statement:
“Bone Thugs is a group where majority rules. So, for now, the name change will stick.”
The group has updated their social handles, signifying they will be known as the Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony until further notice. Krayzie Boneless, Flesh-N-Boneless and Wish Boneless were quick to get on board with the name change after tasting the new juicier boneless wings. As Krayzie recounts, “one night at a Buffalo Wild Wings would change the band forever.” In fact, the change has gained momentum within the group. “This is going down for real. It’s happening. We got merch and everything,” said an excited Wish Boneless. However, one member is holding out. Layzie Bone. A recently released “Behind the Music” video documents the group’s name change and the rift between Layzie and the other members. The group will even be selling Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony limited edition gear soon at Bonelessthugs.com.
