ICU Nurse Giorgia Adams, was being honest, cause you know honesty is the best policy except in this situation. She was recently denied services because well you know she's a HEROE AKA NURSE and works with COVID-19 patients. All she wanted was some lashes.... Amazing Lash Studio in River Oaks. She tried to book a service and answer the questions as part of the new pre-screening process. And one of the questions asked if you have had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days, well she answered yes and was denied the appointment. This sucks for our health care workers, like I totally understand but she's a nurse, and I'm sure she checks her temp etc...if I knew how to do lashes I would do them for you nurse Giorgia!
Here is the statement from Amazing Lash Studio:
The Amazing Lash Studio brand has the utmost respect for all healthcare workers and first responders. We are grateful for all they’ve done and will continue to do to help our communities through this pandemic. At Amazing Lash Studio our priority remains focused on creating a safe environment for studio employees and guests.
As we reopen studios across the country, we’ve implemented new enhanced safety and sanitation standards that meet or exceed all CDC guidance. These guidelines include asking all guests pre-screening questions including if they’ve had close contact with or cared for someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 14 days. For the safety of our studio employees and community, we are asking guests that answer yes to this question to wait to schedule an appointment. We will continue to monitor guidance from the CDC and adjust our policies accordingly
