I was asked to host The Obama Portrait Tour at The Museum of Fine Arts Houston. I had the best time, so much love in the air, unity, laughter and most importantly we all created good memories and met new people. The event was free, plenty of activities for kids, a fashion show, snacks, wine, floral back drops for cute pics. We had fellowship, the TSU marching band had us crunk and congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee pulled up. It had been a minute since I've been at the museum, and it felt so good looking at these beautiful portraits with so much history behind them and celebrating with my city.
I didn't even now there was a cafe in the museum district. Take the timeout to explore and go out and check out the portraits they are here until May 30th. We celebrated on this day like The Obamas were really here, well technically they are lol!
