The entire wedding was $500. They were trying to spend the least amount of money and they did. The national average for a wedding starts at $30K. All I got to say is WOW and her wedding was beautiful, they held their ceremony off the Angeles Crest Highway with Southern California's San Gabriel and Sierra Pelona Mountains as the backdrop. They only paid for the chairs and arch, about 30 to 40 relatives and friends attended.
Kiarra, where were you when I got married in 2004? Alot of people gifted them items, like the flowers, cake etc...
And her dress was gorgeous, and only paid $47. So, what about the food, drinks well they went to a restaurant after they said, "I Do" and the guest paid for their own food and drinks.
And let's not call them cheap, they were smart about it and worked with a budget. I know we spent a lot of money on our wedding. However, I never had a Quinceanera, and my hubby wanted to give me a big wedding, since I didn't have a fifteen or went to prom. And we found out venues are cheaper if you get married on a Sunday. We got married on A Sunday and saved some money. So, keep that in mind if you plan to get married. And a huge congrats to this smart, beautiful couple, wishing you greatness in your journey as one.

My wedding was different, I didn't have bridesmaid, our ceremony lasted about 20 minutes and then we partied. I do admit we didn't go over our budget. My aunt was a florist at the time (rip aunt Carmen) and she did my floral wedding arrangements for free with the flowers, so we did save money and stuck to our budget. And my in-laws gifted us our honeymoon to Jamaica.
