This heat is serious this year! We know it gets hot in Htown, but this weather is on a whole new level. My AC needed repairs and the part was on a 4-to-6-week back order, I was only able to survive for about a week with the AC on 73 then it would reach to 80 degrees. I had to go buy 3 fans.
Luckily my husband, was able to get the hook up from a friend who had the part, and we got the AC fixed. Oh, and yes, we had to pay up, there went my tax refund.
So please stay hydrated, stop by these cooling centers and stay cool. Also check up on the elderly.
