The bride who took the dance floor for a solo performance to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" is Steph Smith. The clip has blown up since she posted it to TikTok last week. She explains in the caption that peer pressure lead to the memorable wedding reception moment:
"When your girls request you do the WAP at your wedding... you do not disappoint."
According to Newsweek, Smith replied to commenters speculating about older relatives reacting to the song's explicit lyrics, saying that her grandmother WAS mortified, but more because she was rolling around on the floor in her wedding dress.
