To celebrate the release of his new album compilation project Slime Language, Young Thug generously rented out the Dave & Buster's at Hollywood & Highland in Los Angeles Thursday night. The project's release date, Aug. 16, also coincided with Thugger's 27th birthday.
Allegedly, at some point during the festivities, police showed up and—as shown in social media reports from those on the scene—arrested the "Family Don't Matter" crafter.
Any potential charges were not immediately disclosed, per KABC-TV, who noted in their report Friday morning that "several other people" were also detained around midnight at Dave & Buster's. However, in a statement to Complex, LAPD confirmed that Thug had been arrested and booked for possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle with a bail of $35,000.
