Congratulations are in order for Houston native Obi Arisukwu! He has been on his grind for a looonngggg time and now he has teamed up with HBO Max & Michael B Jordan.
If you follow Obi, then you know he has a popular IG animated series, and a dedicated following on social media and now HBO has picked it up!
Along with production from Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society, the series will also be produced by Michael Schreiber of Studio71, and David Devries.
"OBI’ is about a 30-year-old man-child chasing his dream to become an artist while navigating adulthood with his friends. ‘OBI’ is an adaptation of Obi Arisukwu’s popular Instagram comic strip. This project is co-created by Obi Arisukwu and Arthur Harris (‘The Last OG.’)
No release date yet, but I will def keep you posted! Can't wait!
