Diddy steps in to help pay for former Bad Boy artist Black Rob's funeral

Black Rob (born Robert Ross) sadly passed away at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta Saturday (April 17th). He was on Diddy’s Bad Boy Records in the early 2000s and released hits like Whoa which inspired the Htown Hit "Mann" by Big Moe . Black Rob was 51 years old.

An insider told Page Six that Diddy spoke with Black Rob before his passing and “offered help” but “sadly, it was too late.”

Now, Diddy is reportedly doing all he can to help cover his funeral expenses.

“He wants to make sure that Rob is laid to rest with dignity and according to his wishes. He is helping to make the funeral arrangements.”

Diddy also saluted him on Instagram after his passing and wrote on Instagram,

“Rest in power King @therealblackrob! As I listen to your records today there’s one thing that they all have in common! You have made millions of people all over the world feel good and dance! You are one of a kind! GOD BLESS! Love. You will be truly missed!!!!”
