Weekdays you can catch DJ Mr. Rogers on 93.7 the Beat 6pm-10pm and weekends you can catch him at the hottest parties making people put their hands in the air as they yell out the words to their favorite Hip Hop and r&b songs. Although he makes it look easy you can't help but wonder how does he do it all. He's a son, a brother, father of 2, a loving fiance, a trendsetter, Houston's most requested DJ, and a street philanthropist. After witnessing his city go under water and families cry out for help, Rogers used his social media family (80 K followers) to take matters into his own hands. Before shelters and donation centers could even take action DJ Mr. Rogers gathered his close friends/family, a truck, and care packages and headed straight to the streets to help the people suffering from the disastrous Hurricane Harvey. It was only a matter of time before ABC 13 caught up with him and his crew to get a glimpse of Mr Rogers Hurricane relief plan. From getting families into hotel rooms, to delivering them emergency supplies, to even driving a pregnant friend to a safe place so she can have her baby, Mr. Rogers definitely deserves an honorable recognition from the city of Houston.
