Taletrius 'TJ' Bradley, a football star and a graduate set to walk Sunday died Tuesday from a brain injury sustained in the crash in Plantation, Florida. TJ was given the keys to red Corvette by his mother to celebrate prom at Deerfield Beach High School . Bradley, 19 and his teammate Demetrius Palmer, 17, were driving back from prom when Bradley lost control of the vehicle and flipped it on State Road 7. Both men were thrown from the vehicle however Palmer remains in critical condition, but his coach Jevon Glenn said that he is showing signs of improvement.
Bradley's mother, Tammie Singletary tells Daily Mail she was awarding her son for all his accomplishments this year. "It could have happened to anybody. Like I said he could have had a Toyota and it could have flipped over." She continued " I wasn't the only one. There were Lamborghinis, Maseratis. Everyone knows when it's prom, that's what it's about- extravagant things."
