New Video Footage Adds Uncertainty To The Michael Brown Case

New footage has surfaced concerning Michael Brown hours before he was killed. In 2014, the unarmed black 18-year-old  killed by a white police officer after an altercation in Ferguson. The grand jury's decision that the office was not guilty led to months of protests. The officer said he stopped Brown because he matched the description of someone who had just robbed a nearby convenience store. After Brown’s death, police revealed surveillance footage showing that he did steal small cigars from that store. However, there is a documentary which showcases another piece of surveillance footage earlier that day of Brown at the store. He seems to hand over a small bag in exchange for the cigars, but then left them at the store. When Brown came back later that day, the filmmaker says he was just picking up the cigars and he did not steal them. The local prosecutor says the new video was “poorly edited.” He says authorities always had access to the footage but it is not tied in with what happened later to between Brown and the officer..  The filmmaker insists it wasn’t edited. read more HERE.
