Kanye West just went on TMZ to sit down with Harvey Levin to clarify his recent statements on abolishing the 13th amendment, which was passed in 1864 to abolish slavery in the U.S.
On Sunday, Kanye sent out a tweet explaining what his Make America Great Again hat represents for him and stating that he will work to abolish the 13th amendment. During his sit down with Levin, West explains that he used the wrong verbiage when he said "abolish," when he should have used the term "amend." He also further explained what he meant by the statement and also confirmed that he still plans to run for president in 2020.
